Privacy

Last updated 13 October 2026

This is the privacy policy for dlpstudio101.com, the website of David Levine Photography (DLP Studio 101). I'm the person responsible for your information, and I keep things simple. I collect as little as I can.

Browsing this site

The main pages are just links to my work and shops. You don't need to give me anything to look around. Like any website, the company that hosts it keeps standard server records, such as your IP address, the page you asked for and the time. They use these to run and secure the service.

Client galleries

If I've given you access to a private gallery through the Client Page, I use the details needed to run it: the gallery name, your access code, and the photos you select. When you send your selection, a list of the photos you've chosen is emailed to me so I can carry out the work you've asked for. I only use this information to deliver your photographs and deal with anything that comes up about them.

I keep gallery information only for as long as it's needed to complete the job and for sensible business records. Nothing is sold, shared for advertising or used for anything else.

Getting in touch

If you contact me, I'll use the details you give me to reply to you. I keep that correspondence for as long as it's useful to do so.

Digital business card

My digital card at dlpstudio101.com/card and my link page at dlpstudio101.com/DL each have a contact form. If you use it, I receive the name, email, phone number, company and message you choose to enter, by email. I use them only to get back to you. They are not stored on the website itself, only in my email, and I keep them for as long as it's useful to do so. Saving my contact details to your phone gives you a small contact file and sends nothing back to me.

Cookies and tracking

I don't run advertising, tracking or analytics tools on this site, and I don't set cookies of my own to follow you around the web.

Other sites

This site links to other places, including my main portfolio, Print Shop, Apple Books and Gumroad. Once you click through, their own privacy policies apply, not this one.

Who I share information with

Only the people who help me run the site and my business, such as my web host and email provider, and only where needed. I don't sell your information.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how I use it. Email me at privacy@dlpstudio101.com and I'll deal with it promptly. If you're unhappy with how I've handled things, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If I change this policy, the new version goes on this page with a new date at the top.
